Context
This year we are bringing the Year in Review feature to Android, after its initial deployment and iterations on iOS. The goal is to deepen engagement and increase retention of readers. We'll also add the ability to donate through the feature.
Requirements
- ✅ Add the donate button to each slide
- ✅ For a set list of countries, hide the red "Donate" buttons from the slide UI in Year in Review
- AE, AF, AX, BY, CD, CI, CU, FI, ID, IQ, IR, KP, KR, LB, LY, MM, PY, RU, SA, SD, SO, SS, SY, TM, TR, UA, UZ, XK, YE, ZW (these are also currently listed in the Config)
- ✅ If GPay is detected, show "Donate with GPay" halfsheet on top of Year in Review
- Donations made through Year in Review should be counted as appmenu donations, but also have an additional identifier to allow distinguishing them from appmenu.
- ✅ If someone donates from a slide in Year in Review and then returns to the app, land them back on the slide they were looking at
- ✅ If someone taps "back" while in the donate flow, exit the flow and drop them back to the screen they were at when they tapped 'donate'
