Thunderbird RSS reader now unable to subscribe due to Anubis
Closed, ResolvedPublicBUG REPORT

What happens?:

My feed reader on Thunderbird no longer fetches them

What should have happened instead?:
It should keep working

Other information (browser name/version, screenshots, etc.):
Tested in Alligator and RSS feed subscription works fine.

Event Timeline

(FWIW, my guess would be that this mainly affects Thunderbird. AFAIK Anubis is only supposed to filter out browser user agents, so it probably catches Thunderbird because that would include “Gecko” in its user agent string, but other feed readers would hopefully use another user agent and bypass Anubis?)

We need to investigate if this really is broken. If it is, we should probably add an exception using the Anubis config. From a very preliminary look I thought I got a green check in Thunderbird's feed reader for the above urls
