Post payment monthly convert modal is invisible to screen readers.
After selecting amount, payment method by credit card, entering their credit card details, and then hitting the donate button, screen reader users are not receiving any clear announcement that an upsell pop-up is triggered at the next stage of the donation flow. Additionally, there is no immediate spoken focus on the modal nor any avenue to interact with it. The donor is unaware they need to choose one of two prompts of a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to a monthly donation, the selection of which enables advancement to payment flow completion. Additionally, when the pop up is open, WCAG states that the background contents should be non-interactable, but they are in our case. In testing, the only means of escape was to tab through the page again to find the donate button to hit again.
