As proposed by @Jdforrester-WMF in T333541#11242362, we should have a dedicated CI job for testing CentralAuth with new MediaWiki core changes, since CentralAuth is a critical part of the functionality of Wikimedia sites, but can't be easily added to the gated extensions (which is what we do for other extensions deemed sufficiently important for Wikimedia sites).
