Description
Create a design for a new UI component that displays Wikidata statements in a compact, structured, and readable way in read mode. The current representation is verbose and deeply nested, making it hard to scan and understand. The new design should significantly improve usability without changing any backend logic or introducing editing features.
We can have an collapsed and expanded mode. the collapsed view should be as short as possible so the three renders quick on the page.
Scope
- Design a compact read mode view showing statements in a simple, scannable structure.
- Define how qualifiers, references, and rank appear when collapsed and expanded.
- Specify patterns for handling complex data types (e.g., quantities, time, media).
- Ensure the design is visually consistent with other Wikifunctions components.
Acceptance Criteria
✅ Final mockups for collapsed and expanded statement views delivered in Figma (or similar).
✅ Clear guidance on displaying qualifiers, references, and rank.
✅ Documentation for handoff to frontend implementation.
✅ Designs cover all major data types without loss of information.
