Context:
When a contact updates their country via the Preference Center, the new country correctly becomes the primary country. However, Civi still retains the old country under the CID, which will cause confusion, especially during record merges, since the two fields appear separately and require manual updates.
Requests:
- Remove the secondary (previous) country after a country update in the Preference Center.
- Clarify behavior for multi-country preferences: if a contact has an email preference for Country X but their home country is the US, will they still be included in US direct mail and SMS sends after the country update, or will they be excluded since the new primary country is no longer the US?
