Emirates appears to be making the A380 work for their business model rather than losing money on it. They are the largest operator of the type worldwide, have invested in luxury and high-capacity configurations (premium cabins, etc.), and have publicly stated that the type remains a profitable component of their fleet.
However, that doesn’t mean each individual A380 flight or route is automatically profitable — profitability depends on route, demand, fuel/cost environment, and how well the aircraft is filled and used. And in times of major disruption (e.g., COVID-19 pandemic) the aircraft (and airline) did take impairments tied to A380s.

You will see text disappears
What happens?:
When I post a reply to talk page discussions, part of the text at the end disappears after I post it. It happens randomly. I do not know what’s causing this.
What should have happened instead?:
Typed text should be posted. It should not cut contents without warning.
