Background
The team wants to gain an understanding of the current performance of our explore feed from a quantitative perspective and establish baselines as we start work.
Task
Pull the following pieces of data for each platform, and if you are not able to pull certain data, create an instrumentation task for engineers on the appropriate platform.
- How many article pageviews originate from the explore feed?
- What is the average dwell time per unique user?
- What is the median scroll depth per unique user?
- What is the customization frequency of the explore feed (this is not inclusive of updating language or project)?
- What is the rate of engagement by unique users of the explore feed (Scroll, Card clicks)?
- What is the retention rate of Explore Feed (people that engage over multiple days)?
- Currently, how many logged out readers are retained to the feature?
- What cards in the explore feed receive the highest clicks? Which receives the least?
- What cards in the explore feed are turned off and remain off by users most often (through the customization module)? Is there a difference with this question when looking at large vs small wikis?
We should have at least 15 days of data.
We need this completed by November 20.
