Please create a global Herald rule for:
- Where 'Project tags' - include any of - MediaWiki-CreateAccount-page
- Take these actions every time this rule matches
- Add projects - MediaWiki-User-login-and-signup
Rationale: MediaWiki-CreateAccount-page was recently created in order to help the Growth-Team organise tasks that specifically relate to the account creation form (xref the discussion at https://w.wiki/Fnrk). However, there is overlap between this new project & the (already-existing) project MediaWiki-User-login-and-signup -- to my understanding, the CreateAccount tag essentially represents a subset of what's already covered by the User-login-and-signup tag. I'm therefore worried about the possibility of tasks being split between both projects, and it being unclear which of the two projects a task about the account creation form should be tagged with. (The new project will also presumably be less visible to some folks - e.g. developers - than the older one, given that the older one has already existed for some time.)
As far as I can see, the global Herald rule I've proposed above would hopefully mitigate/resolve these concerns; by ensuring that all tasks relating to Special:CreateAccount are still visible under MediaWiki-User-login-and-signup, while still making it possible to use the MediaWiki-CreateAccount-page project to organise tasks relating to that page specifically.
