This MediaWiki Train Deployment is scheduled for the week of Monday, December 1st:

How this works

  • Any open subtask(s) block the train from moving forward. This means no further deployments until the blockers are resolved.
  • If something is serious enough to warrant a rollback then you should bring it to the attention of deployers on the #wikimedia-operations IRC channel.

The above patch Add post-processing cache, disabled by default (1205194) used inconsistent labels for the parseroutputaccess_render_total metric, which caused VisualEditor CI to fail (eg https://integration.wikimedia.org/ci/job/quibble-vendor-mysql-php83/20345/console).

This was fixed by ParserOutputAccess: use consistent metrics labels (1213605) · Gerrit Code Review which was cherry-picked to wmf.5 since it just missed the branch.

But if the risky patch 1205194 is reverted, this followup 1213605 will need to be reverted with it.

^ During the closure (T411501), I reassigned crwiki and klwiki from group2 to group0 and moved them to wmf.5 to match the train’s current stage.

I have filed:
T411580: SitemapFileHandler: PHP Deprecated: Implicit conversion from float 33333.333333333336 to int loses precision
T411585: PHP Warning: Stats: (action_api_modules_hit_total): Stats: (action_api_modules_hit_total) Cannot associate label keys with label values - Not all initialized labels have an assigned value.
Those do not seem to be worth blocking the train. I triaged them with Daniel this morning and he routed those tasks to the appropriate MediaWiki teams.
