Description

For the countries listed in hideCountryCodes on the Config, https://en.wikipedia.org/api/rest_v1/feed/configuration do not show the Year in Review entry points

While testing the "More" menu entry point, I noticed that I can still see the Year in Review entry point when my GeoIP is set to RU

If you have Developer settings enabled, then Year-in-review is enabled explicitly, regardless of country.

Note for testing: Disable Developer settings after changing your GeoIP. (in Developer settings, turn off showDeveloperSettings) Then try to open YiR. When I test, YiR is hiding for RU with this method.

Looks good on 2.7.50557-r-2025-11-14, on OnePlus 8 on Android 13, and Pixel 6 on Android 16. Tested with GEOIP set to UA
