Uprade cloudservices1005 and cloudservices1006 to MariaDB 10.11
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

The following hosts are running MariaDB 10.6 which is ending support in 8 months and it is already not fixing bugs unless they are security/very high impacting ones.

  • cloudservices1005
  • cloudservices1006

We provide MariaDB 10.11 for bookworm which is what our production environment has been running for months and we are finishing our last section (s8 and s1).
Please upgrade to MariaDB 10.11 (I can help if needed).

Event Timeline

Thanks @Marostegui.

@taavi had already noticed this and created T402005: Upgrade cloudinfra database hosts off of Bullseye, which is assigned to me. I'll keep that one as it mentions both the db version and the OS version. I was wrong, that one is about a different pair of servers, see comment below.

Not true, that is a different server in cloud-vps. :/

Unassigning myself while we decide who's going to do it.

This has happened, I'm assuming by virtue of trixie upgrade? Optimistically resolving
