This bug is due to lack of foresight from the PM when defining the A/B test requirements! We didn't think of the scenario where someone is logged-out, but has personalized information for the highlights.
Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):
- Log out
- Turn on developer setting for Group B
- Navigate to the highlights slide
What happens?:
The highlights slide is not displaying properly.
What should have happened instead?:
The highlights slide displays the “if only reader” variant of the highlights slide
