As an Itch.io user, I want to read postmortems on games and game jams, so that I can see how events I'm interested in went, entertain myself, and possibly learn something.
- This task calls for a blog post about the NYC game jam. Would love to hear your thoughts and feelings on the game jam: how did it go? How did participants feel? What kind of games came out? Near the beginning (maybe after a cool hook) and at the end of the post, we should include a call-to-action for readers to try out some of the games on our page.
- We could create either, depending on how the blog post is written,
- A postmortem: https://itch.io/devlogs/postmortems
- A forum post: https://itch.io/board/533649/game-jams
- From scrolling, it looks like the forum posts have more replies generally, though they have rather low views. Thus, this task should be pretty lightweight and stress-free. We're including content to take a look at discoverability and seed our page.
- We won't need this until we publish the games we're allowed to host on our Itch page, so feel free to take a bit of time with this.
