My watchlist has 37k entries. I went to https://ru.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:EditWatchlist&dir=prev , checked several squares and pressed a red buttom at the bottom of the page.
Result: I returned to first page of the list, entries are not removed.
When I remove items from the first page, it worked correctly.

I can no longer reproduce this issue - pages are removed successfully when I navigate to the last page (dir=prev) and unwatch pages.
Please re-open if this is still reproducable.
