lvs1018 currently has direct connections to the switches in row C and D:

As all of the traffic it forwards to realservers is now done using IPIP encapsulation it does not need these direct connections, which were in place to give it a direct leg in each layer-2 vlan in those rows.

I spoke to members of the traffic team and they agree that it doesn't make sense to migrate the links from the Juniper switches in rack C2 and D7 to the new Nokia switches as part of the current switch migration. Instead it makes more sense to decom these links at this point.

The required work is similar to T405499. This needs to be completed before we can decommission the old Juniper switches in rows C/D.
