Beta tester notes

This release contains an A/B test of a new feature: the Activity tab. If you see “Activity” within your navigation, you are in the test group. If you continue to see “History” in your navigation, you are in control.

If you have access to “Activity”, please follow these test steps:

1. Open Activity
2. If you are logged out, ensure you can see your browsing history. Verify that your history looks correct.
3. If you are logged in, ensure you can see your browsing history at the bottom of the page. Verify that your history looks correct.
4. If you are logged in, verify that your time spent reading this week, articles read this month, and articles saved this month match your recent usage of the app
5. Open articles from your activity timeline at the bottom of the page
6. Read and Save new articles, verify that they are added to the activity timeline

Release notes
This update includes an A/B test of our new Activity tab. The tab surfaces recent reading activity, including time spent, articles viewed, saved items, and edits. All insights are generated locally on your device, ensuring your data remains private.
