Quick notes, to turn into sub-tasks:

• Talk to @Quiddity to see if there's an existing worklist of stuff to stand up a new community wiki. Esp. "pages that a wiki needs to have".

• Review of what content we can adapt/copy from Meta and Wikifunctions.

• Do we need special documentation pages about restricted editing at launch?

• How do we get wider communities to update their listings / policies / etc.? E.g. putting the new wiki on the EnWiki front page template, or adding to the stewards' list of global sysop wikis, etc. Is there a process for any/each of these?

• What are the internal Foundation dependencies? What are their timelines?
  • Legal for logo? For copyright of content? For staff editing?
  • Brand for logo?
  • Movement Comms for launch timing?
  • Others?

• What are the cross-wiki community groups that need to know? How do we tell them? Etc.
  • Stewards etc.
  • Language Committee
  • Others?

• We need to align on the language and terminology and make sure we use this consistently in all comms, documentation, etc.

I've taken my old list from Wikifunctions's early days, and made a more generic version at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Quiddity_(WMF)/List_of_initial_wiki_pages -- Edit/relocate/etc as desired.
