This is a follow up to {T409769: Hardware requirements for WDQS backend migration.} .

@bking mentioned future availability of high memory hosts for Ganeti VMs.

The Wikidata Platform team would be interested in experimenting with virtualized WDQS deployments in Q3 (if available).

We are waiting on T410314, which is blocked pending work by the SRE Infrastructure Foundations team. I'm not sure exactly how long that will take, but my guess would be at least a month. Once that's done, we're happy to help stand up some high-memory WDQS VMs.
