@neriah configuration changes are not like normal code patches, so they are not merged/approved in a typical queue. You will have to request a backport of this patch in a deployment window and be available during that time to test it on the debug servers. If you are not available to do so, other volunteers can help you schedule and test this during the window. The technical deployment is done by folks who have shell access, but you will have to be present during the window to test the change.
