Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

  • Sam Reed announced the release of MediaWiki 1.39.16, 1.43.6, 1.44.3 and 1.45.1 on 10th december, but today they are still not available for Mediawiki-Docker

What happens?:

It looks like Git tags have not yet been created for these new releases

What should have happened instead?:

Software version (on Special:Version page; skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):
1.39.16, 1.43.6, 1.44.3 and 1.45.1

It looks like Git tags have not yet been created for these new releases

That is indeed part of the problem as this caused our automation not to kick in ... I will look into updating the images :)
