Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

• Log into Test Wikidata
• Visit the beta preferences page and turn on the mobile editing UI
• Visit any item page in mobile view e.g. https://test.wikidata.org/wiki/Q242662
• Add a new statement using the Date property and click publish
• Refresh the page to see the statement

What happens?:

• The statement appears as a year

What should have happened instead?:

• The statement should not be able to be published as the datetype is not completed and ready for production yet

• Date datatypes edit buttons are redlinked
• Dates datatypes cannot be published
