Description

In the Wikipedia app on Android, when using the Russian language localization, in the "Nearby places" section "km" is incorrectly written in Latin letters -- it should be written in Cyrillic as "км".

"km" comes from https://github.com/wikimedia/apps-android-wikipedia/blob/5881bce4e095821d41381e9fc9e576f2a40d3174/app/src/main/java/org/wikipedia/util/GeoUtil.kt#L56-L60

So they need to change it to make those units localisable.

Appears to be fixed on 50565-r-2026-01-12 on OnePlus 8 on Android 13, and Pixel 6 on Android 16. Tested on all themes.
