weekly update:

Research Fund:
I put together an internal timeline to help us stay on top of upcoming milestones and roles.
I prepared OpenReview for the decision stage and this was finalized on Friday.
Completed initial round of eligibility checks for the submissions received.
WMF-RAY:
I set up the OpenReview nomination venue and sent the announcement inviting nominations.
Fellows Program:
Completed the review process setup and initiated the review of a relevant application with team members.
Wikimania:
Continued with the planning of keynotes and general program with the co-organizers. I also put together a clarified roles and responsibilities document for the organization timeline.
Wiki Workshop:
Met with a potential EPFL student for tech support- we agreed to move forward with her onboarding.
Planning for leave:
Continued preparations ahead of my upcoming leave.

weekly update:

WMF-RAY:

• Prepared a list of publications with metadata based on last year's WikiResearch X Tweets + pulled a list of publications from Scholar: WMF-RAY 2026
• Nominations process is now closed and complete.

Fellows Program:

• We launched the review of a relevant application and I completed my part. We are still pending Applied Science Manager's input, after which I will pass this on to Head of Research.

Wikimania:

• Continued with the planning of keynotes and general program with the co-organizers.
• Discussed potential Program Officers with the co-organizers. We will add that role in the coming weeks.

Wiki Workshop:

• I prepared a detailed execution plan for the remaining work
• Launched registration on Pretix.

Showcase

• We are ready to go with the February showcase- Debra will host, Logistics email was sent to speakers, and I completed the tech set up

Others

• Collaborated with internal teams to update the research community on a couple of changes to tools (Etherpad, XML Dumps).
• working with Applied Sciences to provide a Wikipedia dataset for a DataFest in Germany.
