Feature summary (what you would like to be able to do and where):
In the Wikipedia app's discover feed there is a tile for recommended articles. It's a good concept but it doesn't work in practice because it's just a) a few items of b) just 1 article of the read history and c) one may not be interested in even just that 1 article as one could have opened that article for all sorts of reasons such as checking what a Most read article is about.
Now, recently a new great feature was added to the app: the recommended reading lists where one can select interests by adding articles one is interested in to get better results. These are accessible on the bookmarks page (top of that page). They generally show much better recommendations than the recommended articles in the feed but they can't be added to the feed. Also there is little need to separately integrate these into the Discover feed: just change the recommended articles to work on selected articles of interests like the recommended reading list or enable seeing the recommended articles in that tile. Alternatively, one could have these as a separate tile in the feed.
Use case(s) (list the steps that you performed to discover that problem, and describe the actual underlying problem which you want to solve. Do not describe only a solution):
I swipe the main page feed regardless of how boring it mostly is or how interesting content available when navigating away is. The recommended articles are boring but in the feed. The recommended reading list is not but is not in the feed. Ideally, one would ultimately have a longer infinitely-scrollable/swipable feed of recommended articles instead of these tiles per day. This isn't how feeds are built for a reason. I like that one can customize which things are in the feed but it would be better to have a proper feed. Until then, please at least make the recommended articles somewhat useful.
Benefits (why should this be implemented?):
See above.
