As part of Article Guidance (T396029) first intervention, a new workflow will support editors as they start the creation of an article (T414409). We want to understand the funnel for users navigating this new workflow.
This ticket proposes to instrument each step of the workflow so that we can capture:
- How many users move through the workflow.
- What the drop-off rate for each step is.
Some additional elements that can be useful to provide context to understand better the results:
- Type of article the user was trying to create, and whether it is supported (i.e., has an outline defined for it).
- Edit count. User editing experience.
- Wiki. Which of the pilot wikis the user is in.
Ideally, the analysis should cover from the entry points to the publication of the article.
