The Commons search has upgraded to MediaSearch which is more modern and easier to use.

However, when searching something and there's no drop-down result that ends the search but instead one clicks on "Search for pages containing search phrase", it shows the SpecialSearch. Please make it use the user's configured search which by default should be MediaSearch like for the rest of the site.

Benefits (why should this be implemented?):

It's easier to use and if the user was not looking for images they can easily switch the filetype tab. It's more modern, easier to use, looks better, and the user is more familiar with it because the rest of the Commons site also uses MediaSearch by default.
