I'm not familiar with those services, why do the need to be on the public vlan ?
Allocation is done by DCops during the normal provisioning workflow (with the provision server netbox script).

Hi,
we are not introducing a new service or use case for a public IP.
This is just a work around to solve a complex upgrade path of the existing contint* servers.
The current machines have both jenkins and zuul on them and we are approaching EOL of the distro version they are on very soon.
A new architecture for zuul is being developed (WIP) but not quite yet ready. We are splitting jenkins out of the existing machines until we can shut them all down.
We are estimating about 6 months. New zuul machines already exist and do NOT use public IPs.
As you point out allocation is done during normal provisioning.. there is nothing else to do here, actually.
