Community Picks: Picture of the Day from Commons Module
Closed, ResolvedPublic5 Estimated Story Points

Description

Background / Description

Picture of the Day from Commons surfaces images from Wikimedia Commons, selected daily by community consensus across the platform. Unlike Today's Featured Picture which is language wiki specific, this module draws from the broader Wikimedia Commons community and is available regardless of the user's selected language. It celebrates the visual side of the Wikimedia movement and gives readers a moment of discovery beyond text-based articles.

Lets remove the description since it obscures the picture. We do have to keep the attribution on the image card. Description can be accessible with the rest of the metadata.

It looks great, thanks! Moving this on
