Background
The End of Feed card is the final state users encounter after scrolling through all For You modules. It signals that the user has seen everything available in today's digest and encourages them to return the next day for fresh content. It also provides CTAs for further engagement: adding new interests and visiting the Community tab.
When users drag their finger from the bottom of the screen upward past this card, the feed loops back to the first module (Article Recommendations). Swiping backward from this card returns users to the final module in the feed.
User Story
As a Wikipedia reader who has reached the end of my For You feed, I want to see a clear signal that I've finished today's content along with options for what to do next, so that I don't feel like I've hit a dead end and know to come back tomorrow.
Requirements
- The end of feed card is displayed after all For You modules have been swiped through.
- The card displays a 'That's it for today!' heading and a message encouraging the user to return tomorrow for fresh content.
- The card includes two CTAs: 'Add new interests' (navigates to interests settings) and 'See what is happening in community' (switches the user to the Community tab).
- There is no three-dot more menu on this card.
- There is no card position counter on this card.
- The Wikipedia logo, tab switcher, language dropdown, and notification bell chrome elements remain visible.
- When the user continues to scroll down past this card (drag bottom-to-top), the feed loops back to the first module (Article Recommendations) — no additional tap or confirmation required.
- Swiping backward (top-to-bottom) from this card returns to the last card they had been looking at in the final module in their feed.
- The card should not display a reason label.
