Background
When users tap 'Modules' under the For You section of the Explore Feed settings screen, they are taken to a screen listing all For You feed modules with individual toggles to turn each module on or off.
Modules are listed in the fixed order they appear in the feed. Users cannot reorder modules. Turning a module off hides it from the For You feed; it can be re-enabled at any time from this screen.
The For You modules, in feed order, are:
- Based on your Interests
- Because You Read (Based on your reading history)
- Places of Interest
- Discover
- Random
- Games Teaser
User Story
As a Wikipedia reader, I want to be able to turn individual For You feed modules on or off, so that I can tailor my feed to the content types I actually want to see without affecting my Community feed or other settings.
Requirements
- The screen is titled 'For You' with a back button returning to the Explore Feed settings screen.
- All For You feed modules are listed in their fixed feed order: Based on your interests, Because You Read, Continue Reading, Places of Interest, Discover Recommendations, Random, Games.
- Each module row has a toggle (on/off). The toggle reflects the module's current visibility state in the feed.
- Toggling a module off hides it from the For You feed once user leaves setting screen, likewise for toggling it back on.
- Module order is fixed — users cannot drag to reorder.
- A helper text below the module list reads: 'Turning off a module hides it from your For You feed. You can re-enable it here at any time.'
- The End of Feed / Today's Digest Complete card is not listed as a toggle — it always appears and cannot be disabled.
- If all modules are toggled off, display a warning: 'Your For You feed will be empty. Turn on at least one module to see content.'
