Summary
Run a pilot test of the main page customization feature with 4–5 selected small or new wiki communities. The goal is to validate design decisions made during exploration, identify gaps before wider rollout, and gather learnings for implementing remaining Starter Kit features.
What to test
- Can communities with limited English proficiency understand and complete the 3-step wizard flow?
- Do the generated templates work correctly on the wiki without additional technical setup?
- Are the inline editing instructions in the generated templates clear enough for editors to update content independently?
- Do communities find the section opt-in/opt-out model useful, or do they want a different level of control?
- Does the TemplateStyles CSS load correctly for sister projects and languages sections?
