Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):
- Navigate to saved
- Tap search and type in characters that will provide no results
- Tap the close button within search
- Type in characters that will provide no results
- Tap the larger close button next to text field
What happens?:
Search terms are erased (fine), but now existing saved articles are not present
What should have happened instead?:
Tapping X should not present a blank screen

Tested on 7.9.3 (5992) on iPhone 16 on iOS 26.3.1
