Feature summary (what you would like to be able to do and where):
The Nearby Places map is one of the best features of the Wikipedia app, allowing the user to discover interesting places or easily learn more about places one is at using it. However, it can only show articles from one specific language.
One may like to see articles preferably in one's own native language or preferably in a language one can understand well with most comprehensive info in Wikipedia (English) and then secondarily whenever there is no article in the preferred language also articles from other languages. This would result more spots being on the map.
Use case(s) (list the steps that you performed to discover that problem, and describe the actual underlying problem which you want to solve. Do not describe only a solution):
The main use case is the use during travel to other countries where one prefers to see articles in the preferred lang (see above) but where unavailable may want to see articles in the region/site's local language. So for example a person from Spain visiting Paris may want to see Spanish articles first, English articles too and French articles where neither are available
- so they can find more interesting sites
- so they can read about the site if they understand French good enough
- so they can read about the site if they are able to use machine translation (it would be great if MinT for readers T359072 was integrated into the app for this instead of needing to for example select text->Translate to translate it with some app like Google Translate)
Benefits (why should this be implemented?):
The Nearby Places map becomes much more useful and the app has a larger unique benefit.
