Language list font should not scale with the text font size in Vector 2022 (new language selector)
Closed, ResolvedPublic1 Estimated Story PointsBUG REPORT

Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

  • On any article page, open up the language selector and observe the font size, depending on the font size setting in Vector 2022 (small/standard/large)

What happens?:

  • The languages list font scales with the set text font size, unlike other interface elements (menus, tabs). This seems to be a new behavior.

Text font size: standard

language selector 2.png (1,164×746 px, 128 KB)

Text font size: large

language selector 3.png (1,162×744 px, 131 KB)

With the largest font, the list overflows, horizontal scrollbar appears, the settings button sits on top of the list items.

On special pages, the language selector font differs from the selector on article pages.
