What is the problem?
When editing a page on the Mobile Visual Editor, if I am editing the same page a second (or sometimes third) time, I cannot publish. Clicking "Publish" on the "Save your changes" page shows a loading animation indefinitely (see screenshot).
Timing seems to be important. If you wait a while before making a second edit it can be successful, but it will fail if you try to make a second edit straight away. I haven't got much data yet on how much time you have to wait.
Steps to reproduce problem
- https://test.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
- Switch to mobile
- Click the edit icon
- Switch to Visual editing (if you are not already there)
- Make an edit and publish
- Go through steps 3-5 again
Environment
Platforms: Chromium 147 on Debian 12. Chromium 147 on Windows 11 (browserstack). Samsung Galaxy S25 Android 15 Chrome. iPhone 11 iOS 13 Safari.
