Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

• 1. Ensure you are on the latest version of Google Chrome (check if up to date on chrome://settings/help) and on Windows 10 22H2
• 2. When opening the English Wikipedia, ensure you are usng the Vector 2022 skin
• 3. Visit any article on the English Wikipedia
• 4. Click the language selector (文A icon with "X languages")

Actual results: the language selector says: "Missing in English, [language Y] and more", although there are a few articles that don't exhibit this behaviour (e.g. "Quezon City" in the screenshots below)

Expected results: the selector should accurately say which language versions don't have a counterpart for the article, in this case it shouldn't say "Missing in English" because we're on the English Wikipedia

Running Google Chrome 147.0.7727.138 on Windows 10 22H2. Note that the font seen here is Cabin (downloadable from Google Fonts), the Wikipedia display font in Chrome can be changed via Settings ---> Appearance ---> Customise fonts ---> choose from the dropdown box under Sans-serif font.

Different from T307745 as this report concerns a newer language selector that categorises languages under "Suggested" and "All languages" and not by continent (Americas, Europe, Asia etc.) and already appears even when "English" is not typed.
