Event Timeline

Last week I started with the local deploy of the application and using test.wikipedia.org to simulate a contest and change different articles to generate the dashboards at WikiScore.

This week I could configure the WikiScore to use Wikidata API, as the PetScan doesn't allow using test.wikidata API I am loading some data directly on the database. Also, I did a fix on the requests adding headers. Also, I did a fix on the create contest form when you select a different option to load users. The pull request in my fork is in this link https://github.com/wikimediabrasil/wikiscore/pull/107 it includes all the changes mentioned before and it is a first draft.

The final PR is ready to review, you can find it here: https://github.com/wikimediabrasil/wikiscore/pull/107
here is a summary of all the things included:

Modified contest creation form (manage.py & manage.html) to hide bytes per point, images per point, maximum bytes per article-participant, maximum images per article-participant, minimum bytes per edit and image evaluation mode when the used introduces an API address value that contains 'wikidata' in its value.
Modified traige page to show number of statements, references and qualifiers created/modified when it's a Wikidata contest, also shows all tags associated to an Edit, the value show is the Tag name as in here: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Special:Tags
Modified counter page to show total edits, sum of bytes, total statements, total references, total qualifiers and total points when it is a Wikidata contest.
Modified load_edits to support loading Wikidata edits with tags information and logic to compare snaks based on hash value.
Fixed load_reverts request to include headers information.
Added migration steps to modify Edit, Evaluation, Contest models to support Wikidata information.
The biggest obstacle to test the Wikidata integration is that PetScan queries directly to Wikidata and doesn't provide access to a test environment to simulate a contest and validate all changes with different scenarios.
Below you can find screenshots to create a contest, triage and count number of modifications.
