Lemonde.fr blocks citoid
Closed, ResolvedPublicBUG REPORT

Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

  • Since few weeks, it is impossible to automatically cite references of ''Le Monde'' articles by using "Add a source" (I guess : Citoid). It is a big waste of times as this source is frequently used on fr.wikipedia.

What happens?:
The error message is the following : Nous n'avons pas pu faire de citation pour vous.

Essayez une autre source ou créez-en une manuellement. "

If I check the page Le Monde with link-dispenser on tool forge, there are errors http 402 for this newspaper' articles [https://link-dispenser.toolforge.org/analyze/en/Le_Monde]. (I do not know if there is a relationship between the two facts) I presume the error come from a status for citoid in Le Monde, and I could write them in french to ask to put Citoid on a white list, but as a newbie, I don't even know the API identifier of Citoid. (Citoid ?)

Could please check ?

What should have happened instead?:

Software version (on Special:Version page; skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):

Thank you. I send them an email, and will inform you of the results.

No other response was given than "we'll pass it on to the web teams". But it's fixed. Thanks again for your help, Johannnes89 . The request can be closed.
