https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Community_Wishlist is just a wiki page with the tables created by parser functions. Nothing technical would stop you from editing it yourself to de-emphasize focus areas.

per that I've been BOLD and removed the focus areas visually from the nav and the page itself in: https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Community_Wishlist&diff=prev&oldid=30611130
