The Community-Wishlist tag description says "wishes only" so I have to agree with Aklapper about not using that one. Community-Tech would have been a good tag a week or two ago.

It's not a change, it's the status quo. I'm just saying don't eliminate what we have now to have an annual event. If I, for example, come up with an idea mid-year (between annual events), I want to post it to the wish list, and (potentially) get support.

This was intended to be a task where we plan out those details. None of the acceptance criteria have been met yet (picking a date, marketing it). I would suggest reopening.

Who is "we" (honest question), and are the folks who are in charge of the Wishlist on this ticket? If not, then the Talk Page might be more suited (I do not know where potential changes to the Wishlist are ultimately discussed).

That's right, and for more context, Community-Tech was where we placed all other general work tasks related to the tool and processes, rather than user wishes (though sometimes there are wishes about the tool!).

I would have preferred to just rename Community-Tech to something like Wishlist-Tooling or Wishlist-Team instead of archiving it since UX, Comms and I are still supporting the project along with some additional cross-department colleagues and contractors. I can follow up elsewhere after I check with folks on what preferred naming convention they'd like. We wouldn't want to lose all the tagged tasks or have to migrate them to something new.
