I would like to request access to security tasks on Phabricator to be able to contribute security patches (which I've done in the past e.g. in T407157 or T299359), help review security patches written by other developers, help backport security patches to release branches, and research reported vulnerabilities in more detail to find, report and fix similar issues in other pieces of code before the original task is published.

I've been dealing with security vulnerabilities in MediaWiki and related software since May last year and reported >120 vulnerabilities (~85 on WMF phabricator) since. In May this year, I was granted +2 in T420101. I have therefore gained a lot of experience in finding vulnerabilities in MediaWiki code and developing mitigations, and I would like to be able to use this experience to help resolve unfixed security tasks which I don't have access to right now.
