Description

Hello,

Cairn.info homepage and resource pages are stuck in redirect loop set by their bot protection system.

https://shs-cairn-info.wikipedialibrary.idm.oclc.org/

Looks like the partner needs to add exception for our proxy IP.

It seems to work one day and then stop the next, on and off. It’s back working for me right now, but I’ll post again if the issue comes back.

I can confirm the issue is still there. Infinite device check loop, so the issue should be reopened and solved as one cannot just spam logins 24/7 hoping to eventually be let in at some point.

It's working for me today. Are you still seeing this issue @Miyoharu?

Impossible to log in to it, repeated "slide right to secure access". Also reported y another editor on en wiki. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:The_Wikipedia_Library#Cairn.info

Copying my comment from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:The_Wikipedia_Library#Cairn.info : "Hi. For a few months already, whenever I try to access Cairn.info via The Wikipedia Library, I get stuck on the verification page, saying "Verifying the device – The requested content will be available after verification", whilst continuously displaying a checkmark and a loading pattern in a loop, with the page never loading. I've tried to access it via TWL on different devices and networks, but the problem still persists. Task T429124 on Phabricator regarding this problem appears to have been closed on account of the issue having been solved, but it still does not work on my end. [...]". Similarly to DuncanHill, I've also experienced the "repeated 'slide right to secure access'" issue.

Framawiki claimed this task.

I just filled out their contact form to ask them to add TWL proxy's IP address to the Cloudflare exclusion list. They quickly replied, understood the issue and submitted a whitelist request to their IT department. It might take a few weeks to be processed due to summer vacation.

I'm closing this task ; if anybody encounter the problem again, please reopen it.
