Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):
- Start an edit with VE in one tab (TBD whether desktop or mobile)
- Start a different edit in another tab (e.g., to split the first edit into smaller chunks, or after forgetting about the first tab)
- Publish the second edit
What happens?:
Data is lost — the changes from the first edit are lost when the second edit is published.
What should have happened instead?:
Edits across tabs should not overwrite one another.
The reporter suggests a manual "stash my changes" button and a menu to pick between versions (which can be saved locally) as a possible solution.
