Description

We currently express that semantic versions are used within our API stability policy, but do not provide supplemental information for how we expect versioning to be handled in practice by API builders. Clarifying these expectations, including a few key examples of when to increment a version vs not, will be helpful for API builders.

• Create a linked document under the stability policy that outlines API semantic versioning practices.
• Link the semantic versioning expectations to the module creation documentation.
• Review content with the tech docs team.
