Description

In preparation for migrating to a more modern build system, let's first upgrade the legacy dependencies in QS GUI so that we are not also battling with deprecations and mismatched peer dependencies when we try to use a modern build system.

Acceptance Criteria

The dependencies listed in package.json in QS GUI should be as up-to-date as possible
