T430223: Linked Artifact Cache - enable request tracing through backend lambdas is about enabling distributed request tracing through LAC's Hoarde service. If backing lambda functions also enable request tracing, we will be able to observe the flow of requests from start to finish.
Headless VE (in nodejs) should enable gRPC based request tracing. A rough outline how this might be done is described at T430223#12092783.
E.g.
Client -> LAC -> Headless VE -> MediaWiki Parsoid API(?) -> etc. etc.
