[Spike] Investigate extracting a color palette from article images and applying it to related feed UI elements
Closed, ResolvedPublic2 Estimated Story Points

Description

Evaluate the feasibility of sampling a dominant or representative color from an article image and using it to tint the background of associated Explore feed components. The implementation should ensure sufficient contrast for text and interactive elements to meet accessibility requirements.

As part of this investigation, assess whether this approach could help certain Explore feed surfaces feel more native to iOS by introducing subtle, image-derived background treatments, and document any technical constraints, performance considerations, or existing libraries that could support this pattern.
