User story & summary

As a new account holder, I want a homepage with fewer competing calls to action so that my original intent is not postponed by stacked onboarding elements.

Parent task: T430058: [EPIC] Account Setup (DE1.3.1 - early onboarding)

The current post-account-creation experience compensates for UI that should be self-explanatory.

We will move in this direction as part of the broader epic: T419358: [EPIC] Personal Dashboard + Homepage [FY26-27, Deepen Engagement 1.3] as we shift to Home / Personal Dashboard. However as a team we have decided to NOT include this in the DE1.3.1 A/B test.

@KStoller-WMF insted of declining this task i'd suggest moving it back to the backlog and renaming the task title.
