Add indeterminate progress bar showing background OCR processing
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Description:

Per the T394131 recommendation adds an Progress Bar Widget in indeterminate mode to show that OCR processing is still running on remaining pages while the user reviews. The scope grew into opening the dialog at the start since the progress bar belongs there.

Details and specifics

  • An indeterminate progress bar shows below the safety banner, with a label that counts up e.g. Bulk OCR: 3/9 pages processing.
  • Bar disappears once all pages have been processed
  • Pages stream into the sidebar as their OCR completes, inserted in book order so the list stays sorted.
  • The user can review finished pages while others are still processing.
  • Approve is disabled until all processing finishes.
  • If no results are produced the dialog shows an error state and Approve stays disabled.
  • The dialog opens as soon as untranscribed pages are found, before OCR runs and dialog reports progress internally.

Possible OOUI components

  • Indeterminate progress bar
  • Process dialog
  • Booklet layout

This looks like it's all done. Leaving it open in case there's a QA check to be done.
